Hundreds of students gathered in the center of campus Thursday to celebrate UConn\u2019s 5th annual Earth Day Spring Fling.<\/p>\n

The outdoor festival, sponsored by the Office of Environmental Policy and the Department of Dining Services, included local organic food for purchase, green technology and eco-friendly business displays, presentations by UConn\u2019s schools, colleges, and student organizations, and Mt. Sneaker, UConn\u2019s annual sneaker recycling initiative.<\/p>\n
