{"id":59375,"date":"2012-04-27T08:00:31","date_gmt":"2012-04-27T12:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/?p=59375"},"modified":"2012-04-27T11:30:06","modified_gmt":"2012-04-27T15:30:06","slug":"shuttle-service-improvements-coming-to-health-center","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/2012\/04\/shuttle-service-improvements-coming-to-health-center\/","title":{"rendered":"Shuttle Service Improvements Coming to Health Center"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The first of several parking-related changes on the UConn Health Center campus are <strong>effective Monday, April 30<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/publicsafety.uchc.edu\/administration\/forms\/shuttleschedule_orange.pdf\">Orange Line<\/a> service between 16 Munson Road and the academic entrance will resume direct service throughout the day, leaving the Munson Road building every 15 minutes from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>A fourth bus will be added to cover the <a href=\"http:\/\/publicsafety.uchc.edu\/administration\/forms\/shuttleschedule_red.pdf\">Red Line<\/a> off-site route, serving 10 Talcott Notch Road, 230 Farmington Ave., the Exchange, 400 Farmington Ave., and 21 South Road.<\/li>\n<li>A fifth bus will be added for a new <a href=\"http:\/\/publicsafety.uchc.edu\/administration\/forms\/shuttleschedule_student.pdf\">Student Shuttle<\/a> that will serve the Forest and the Glen apartments mornings, middays and late afternoons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, <strong>starting May 21<\/strong>, on-campus shuttle service will be enhanced with <a href=\"http:\/\/publicsafety.uchc.edu\/administration\/forms\/shuttleschedule_express.pdf\">Express Service<\/a> between the main hospital entrance and <a href=\"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/?p=57949\">Shuttle Lot 3, which will get more use as valet service is introduced<\/a>. Buses will depart as frequently as every five minutes during peak times.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly Transit is the Health Center\u2019s shuttle service provider.
