(Photo provided by Diane Cadrain)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Who:<\/strong> Diane Cadrain<br \/>\n<strong>What:<\/strong> \u201cTwigs and Tides\u201d<br \/>\n<strong>Where:<\/strong> Main and mezzanine lobbies, UConn Health Center, 263 Farmington Ave., Farmington<br \/>\n<strong>When: Now through August 1<\/strong>, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., daily<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nAbout the Artist:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Diane Cadrain states she works as a freelance writer specializing in employment law topics, but lives to create art.\u00a0 Her current work includes painted pima cotton fabric embellished with paint sticks. Her techniques also include felting, hand embroidery, machine quilting, hand and machine appliqu\u00e9, and most recently, three-dimensional work.<\/p>\n<p>She has been in juried shows sponsored by the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts and the West Hartford Art League.
