Carol Polifroni, professor of nursing, left, leads professional staff on a tour of the 15,800 square-foot Carolyn Ladd Widmer Wing, under construction at the School of Nursing. The wing will include a reading room, a multi-purpose room, various labs set up as clinical offices, a lab set up as an apartment bedroom to give students experience in at-home caregiving, an auditorium that will serve as a classroom, and a museum of nursing history. Crews expect to start moving equipment and furnishings into the new wing during the last week of July, and employees will transition there in August.
