On April 15 this year\u2019s Pratt &amp; Whitney Distinguished Lecturer, Prof. Micheal Dunn of The Ohio State University and Director of The Ohio State University Gas Turbine Laboratory, had some practical answers.<\/p>\n<p>His timely presentation, titled \u2018\u201cVolcanic Ash \u2013 Aircraft Engine Encounters,\u201d provided information on the challenges volcanic ash presents to the airline industry.
