{"id":69632,"date":"2012-12-03T09:00:57","date_gmt":"2012-12-03T14:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/?p=69632"},"modified":"2012-12-07T11:43:37","modified_gmt":"2012-12-07T16:43:37","slug":"health-center-holiday-tradition-continues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/2012\/12\/health-center-holiday-tradition-continues\/","title":{"rendered":"Health Center Holiday Tradition Continues"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-bottom: 18px;\">[flickr-gallery id=&#8221;72157632164921154&#8243;]<\/div>\n<p>The University of Connecticut Health Center Auxiliary\u2019s annual Holiday Fair and Basket Raffle returned Friday.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the homemade fudge and the <a href=\"http:\/\/employ.uchc.edu\/childcare\/index.html\">Creative Child Center<\/a>\u2019s bake sale, the fair had offerings from 35 vendors who set up shop in the main lobby, Keller lobby, and mezzanine of the main building. The raffle featured holiday-themed baskets, each supplied by a UConn Health Center department.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In this difficult financial time I would like to thank all those employees, patients and visitors who purchased tickets to help make our raffle such a success,&#8221; says Nancy Dean, the Auxiliary&#8217;s holiday fair co-chair.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from this year&#8217;s fair tallied\u00a0 more than $4,300.
