The goal of these awards is to help faculty in all disciplines to better position themselves to apply for and receive extramural funding for their research and scholarly activities.<\/p>\n<p>For the fall 2012 Faculty Large Grant competition, the Research Advisory Council received 51 proposals, and made 24 awards totaling more than $332,000.
