The Division of Athletics today offered a sneak preview of its new uniforms for the 2013-14 season, as part of the new visual identity announced last week.<\/p>\n

The event, held in Gampel Pavilion, was emceed by the IMG\/UConn Radio Network’s Joe D’Ambrosio and included participation from women’s basketball head coach Geno Auriemma and men’s basketball head coach Kevin Ollie.<\/p>\n

Several student-athletes modeled the new uniforms, including Connor David \u201915 (CLAS), baseball; Tor Watts \u201914 (CLAS), men\u2019s basketball; Bria Hartley \u201914 (CLAS) and Kelly Faris \u201913 (CLAS), women\u2019s basketball; Brant Harris \u201914 (CLAS), men\u2019s hockey; Alicia Angelini \u201913 (PHR), field hockey; Lyle McCombs \u201914 (ED) and Yawin Smallwood \u201915 (CLAS), football; Andre Blake \u201915 (CLAS) and Mamadou Doudou Diouf \u201914 (CLAS), men\u2019s soccer; Andrea Plucenik \u201916 (CLAS), women\u2019s soccer; Dana Hughes \u201913 (CLAS), softball; and Marissa Prinzbach \u201916 (CLAS), volleyball.<\/p>\n
