(Sean Flynn\/UConn Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This year\u2019s Earth Day Spring Fling was a chance for the UConn community to gather on Fairfield Way to celebrate the arrival (finally) of spring and to engage in a variety of eco-friendly activities.<\/p>\n<p>Co-sponsored by the Office of Environmental Policy, the Department of Dining Services\u2019 Local Routes Program, EcoHusky Student Group, and the EcoHouse Learning Community, the festival featured organic and locally grown food, green companies and student groups, and a variety of eco-friendly vendors.<\/p>\n<p>UConn\u2019s position as one of the \u2018greenest\u2019 universities in the world shows that focusing on environmental awareness is something the University takes seriously all year long.
