Ehrlich \u201971 (CLAS)<\/strong> is the author of <em>Plunket in Wonderland \u2013 A Hollywood Tale<\/em>, a novel published in 2011 by Sunning Turtle Press. He was a story analyst in Hollywood for 30 years, primarily for Paramount and Orion Pictures, where he helped develop such box office hits as \u201cAmadeus,\u201d \u201cThe Truman Show,\u201d and \u201cThe Hours.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>G. Clifford Carter \u201972 MA, \u201976 Ph.D.<\/strong> received the IEEE 2012 Jack S. Kilby Signal Processing Medal at the IEEE Honors Ceremony in June 2012. He is retired from the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport in Newport, R.I.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel Peacock \u201974 (CLAS)<\/strong>, former employee of Amtrak railroad company and the Environmental Protection Agency\u2019s office of pesticide programs, is retired and residing in Manassas, Va., with his wife. The couple enjoys traveling from the Washington, D.C., area to explore Connecticut.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Barton D. Russell \u201974 (CLAS<\/strong>) launched Everything Small Town, a Web-based platform providing individuals, businesses, states, municipalities, the federal government, the education community, and others a central place to collaborate on initiatives benefiting the nation\u2019s more than 32,000 small towns and 130 million people who live there. He served as executive director of the Connecticut Council of Small Towns for 18 years until October 2012. Previously, he was executive director of the National Association of Towns and Townships and CEO of the National Center for Small Communities. President Ronald Reagan called him \u201cthe voice of small town America.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joyce Mordenti \u201975 (PHR), \u201983 Ph.D.<\/strong> is vice president of translational medicine, drug metabolism, and pharmacokinetics at Medivation Inc., a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company in San Francisco.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scott Prussing \u201975 (CLAS)<\/strong> is author of <em>Helpless<\/em>, his third novel in the paranormal romance series, <em>The Blue Fire Saga<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Robert Bertin \u201976 MS<\/strong>, professor of biology at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass., received the Arthur J. O\u2019Leary Faculty Recognition Award,\u00a0 honoring those who have made special contributions to Holy Cross through their teaching, scholarship, and\/or service. His current research focuses on the flora and natural history of New England and the ecology of invasive species.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elisabeth Reilly \u201978 (CLAS)<\/strong>, certified pediatric nurse practitioner and certified lactation counselor, opened a private practice, Pediatric Parenting LLC, in Bethany, Conn.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cliff Lange \u201979 (CLAS)<\/strong> is vice president, CFO, chief actuary, and chief risk officer of Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company in Canton, Mass. He recently attained the Life Leadership Institute Fellow (LLIF) designation. He also recently covered more than 61 miles in a 24-hour footrace in Wakefield, Mass.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lauralee E. Martin \u201979 MBA<\/strong> is CEO, Americas, at Jones Lang LaSalle, where she has served as chief financial officer since 2002, as well as chief operating officer since 2005.<\/p>\n<p><strong>William Narwold \u201979 JD<\/strong> was named among <em>U.S. News &#8211; Best Lawyers<\/em> 2013 Best Lawyers in America \u201cLawyers of the Year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>JanMarie Weston \u201979 (CLAS)<\/strong> will represent Connecticut in the Mrs. International Pageant this July in Chicago.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1970s Alan M.
