Davin \u201990 MBA <\/strong>was elected to the Board of Education in Morris, N.J. He is actively involved in the Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of the Magnificent Parish. Previously, he served on the Smoke Rise Board of Governors, as a recreation soccer and basketball coach, Cub Scout den leader, and Boy Scout assistant scoutmaster.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Frank Mancini Jr. \u201990 (BUS)<\/strong> is president and CEO of Connex Credit Union in New Haven, Conn. He has been a part of Connex Credit Union\u2019s executive team since 2003, where he was recently the chief financial officer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Heidi Kanter \u201991 (CLAS) <\/strong>announces the birth of a daughter, Delaney Rose, on Aug. 11, 2011. Heidi is currently in her 17th year of teaching elementary school in the Clark County School District in Nevada.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Douglas Johnson \u201992 MBA<\/strong>, associate professor of management at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Ga., is the first faculty member to receive all four of the college\u2019s faculty excellence awards. The awards recognize outstanding faculty in the areas of leadership, service, scholarship, and creativity, all of which are the core values of the college.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christina (Dejesus) Kishimoto \u201994 MPA<\/strong>, superintendent of Hartford Public Schools, serves on the Nellie Mae Education Foundation Board of Directors, the largest charitable organization in New England focused exclusively on education.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rohan Freeman \u201995 (ENG)<\/strong> became the first African-American to climb the Seven Summits, the highest peaks of the seven continents, this past October. He is the founder and principal of civil engineering firm Freeman Cos. in Hartford, Conn.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eric W.F. Niederer \u201995 (CLAS)<\/strong> is partner at the law firm Wilson Elser. In 2011, he was named one of Fairfield County\u2019s \u201c40 Under 40\u201d by the <em>Fairfield County Business Journal, <\/em>and in 2012 was named to the \u201cNew Leaders in Law\u201d by the <em>Connecticut Law Tribune<\/em>. He also was named to the <em>Super Lawyers<\/em> list of \u201cRising Stars\u201d 2010-2012.<\/p>\n<p><strong>John Hedberg \u201997 MBA<\/strong> is senior vice president of the consumer and small business markets at Blue Shield of California.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brian Schulz \u201997 (CLAS)<\/strong> is a producer and cinematographer on the set of \u201cBrooklyn Castle,\u201d a film that made its nationwide theatrical debut in October. \u201cBrooklyn Castle\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/brooklyncastle.com\" target=\"_blank\">brooklyncastle.com<\/a>) documents I.S. 318, a New York City inner-city public school that is home to the most winning junior high school chess team in the country, where budget cuts threaten to undermine the team\u2019s hard-won success.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alexander Morgan \u201998 (BUS)<\/strong> is tax partner at the accounting firm Fiondella, Milone &amp; LaSaracina LLP in Glastonbury, Conn.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hugh Bailey \u201999 (CLAS)<\/strong> and <strong>Carrie MacMillan \u201999 (CLAS)<\/strong> announce the birth of a son, Zachary Daniel, on Oct. 1, 2012. He joins older brother Colin. The family lives in Oxford, Conn.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Angel Li \u201999 (BUS)<\/strong> is tax partner at the accounting firm Fiondella, Milone &amp; LaSaracina LLP in Glastonbury, Conn.<\/p>\n<p><strong>David A. Salomon \u201999 Ph.D.<\/strong> is author of the book <em>An Introduction to the Glossa Ordinaria as Medieval Hypertext<\/em>, released by the University of Wales Press in 2012. He is an associate professor of English at The Sage Colleges in Troy, N.Y., where he is also the founding director of the Kathleen A.
