Writer Stefanie Dion Jones followed Edmondson\u2019s journey during the final year of his work.<\/p>\n<p>Other highlights of the latest edition of <em>UCONN Magazine<\/em> include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Details of the $600 million Campaign for UConn \u2013 <em>Our University. Our Moment.<\/em><strong> <\/strong>\u2013 the largest fund raising effort in the more than 125-year history of the University; the campaign aims to further secure UConn\u2019s place as a national and international leader in higher education;<\/li>\n<li>A profile of David J. Stockton \u201976 (CLAS), \u201976 MA, the chief economist for the Federal Reserve\u2019s Division of Research and Statistics, who advises Federal chairman Ben Bernanke on \u00a0the nation\u2019s economy;<\/li>\n<li>A piece by Alexis Dudden, associate professor of history in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, discussing new opportunities for the U.S. to establish peaceful relations and stability in Northeast Asia;<\/li>\n<li>And an article about Tom Morawetz, Tapping Reeve Professor of Law and Ethics in the School of Law, who believes that using literature helps law students broaden their thinking about their future profession and themselves.
