She co-authored this book with Lionel Cantu, a late assistant professor of sociology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and Salvador Vidal-Ortiz, an assistant professor of sociology at American University.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deric Shannon<\/strong>, co-editor, <em>Contemporary Anarchist Studies: An Introductory Anthology of Anarchy in the Academy<\/em> (Routledge, 2009).<br \/>\nShannon is a graduate student and Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Sociology.
