Thousands of University of Connecticut students will begin moving into residence halls in coming days at UConn\u2019s main campus in Storrs in preparation for the start of the 2013 academic year.<\/p>\n
As the campus population jumps significantly with the start of the new semester, UConn is urging drivers and pedestrians to exercise caution.<\/p>\n
Many people will be new to the campus and unfamiliar with its roads and traffic patterns, so extending patience and consideration to others will help ease everyone\u2019s transition.<\/p>\n
The move-in period for new and returning students runs from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. \u00a0Drivers are advised to consider using alternate routes during those times to avoid delays.<\/p>\n
