Why? It was too painful. Osteoarthritis in her right shoulder made simple tasks \u2013 such as lifting her arm to put on a coat \u2013 extremely difficult.<\/p>\n<p>Orthopaedic surgeon <a href=\"http:\/\/nemsi.uchc.edu\/physicians\/bios\/shea.html\">Kevin Shea<\/a> with the New England Musculoskeletal Institute at the UConn Health Center specializes in shoulder repair.
