But the piece of construction equipment that stands out across the skyline is the 250 ft. high tower crane that is being used to build the new hospital tower.<\/p>\n<p>While the crane is hard to miss, the man operating it is nearly hidden from view within a tiny compartment on top. Wayne Miller, who has been working on cranes since he was 15, is not fazed by the dizzying heights and long hours in a small, confined space.
