He joins his big sister, Megan, and his big brother, Michael.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kathryn (Scoville) Desrosiers \u201901 (ED)<\/strong>, music coordinator for Bolton (Conn.) Public Schools, was named the 2013-14 Bolton Public Schools\u2019 Teacher of the Year. A flutist, she also teaches high school concert band, seventh- and eighth-grade concert band, advanced placement music theory, and music technology.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tara (Kozulko) Stritch \u201901 (ED)<\/strong> is assistant athletic trainer for the U.S. Lacrosse Women\u2019s Senior National Team.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Christopher Lebonitte \u201902 (BUS)<\/strong> is senior director of finance at NBC Sports in New York, N.Y. He has been with NBC Universal for nine years. He and his wife, Allie, announce the birth of a son, Benjamin Vincent, on Aug. 31, 2013.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jessica (Alcantara) Olivieri \u201902 (CLAS), \u201913 MBA<\/strong> and <strong>Angelo Olivieri III \u201904 (BUS), \u201907 MS<\/strong> announce the birth of a baby girl, Aria Josephine, on Sept. 30, 2013, in Hartford, Conn.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theodore \u201cTed\u201d Yungclas \u201902 MA, \u201907 Ph.D.<\/strong> is principal of academic affairs at the Connecticut Board of Regents for Higher Education in Hartford, Conn. He previously served as the assistant dean at UConn\u2019s School of Fine Arts.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Bryan E. McEntee \u201903 (CLAS)<\/strong> was appointed to the Waterbury (Conn.) Board of Education by Waterbury Mayor Neil M. O\u2019Leary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matthew S. Necci \u201903 (CLAS)<\/strong> is partner at law firm Halloran &amp; Sage LLP in Connecticut. High School, received a 2013 Polaris Award from Leadership Greater Hartford in October.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erik Diaz \u201904 MFA<\/strong> is assistant professor of theatre arts at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, Calif.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Zato Kadambaya \u201904 MA<\/strong> is math\/science department head and STEM administrator at New London (Conn.) High School.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kelly (Burke) Lamb \u201905 (SFS)<\/strong> and Craig Lamb announce the birth of a baby boy, Evan Anthony. He was born on Dec. 11, 2013, and weighed 7 lb., 12 oz. The family resides in Rochester, N.Y.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Amanda Falcone \u201905 (CLAS)<\/strong> is public relations account executive at Duffy &amp; Shanley in Providence, R.I. She previously worked as deputy press secretary for U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy (Conn.) and as a multimedia journalist for <em>The Hartford Courant<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Louis \u201905 (ED), \u201907 MA<\/strong>, a four-year letterwinner for the UConn men\u2019s tennis team and a six-year assistant coach for the Huskies, is the UConn men\u2019s tennis head coach. He previously served as head coach of the men\u2019s and women\u2019s teams at the University of Hartford.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Shoshana \u201cShana\u201d (Cook) Mueller \u201905 MPA, \u201906 JD<\/strong>, attorney at Bernstein Shur in Portland, Maine, was elected as a shareholder of the firm. Prior to joining Bernstein Shur, she was a public policy researcher and analyst at an economics and management consulting firm in Boston.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Meghan Angeletti \u201906 (ED)<\/strong>, community relations manager for USTA New England, was named to <em>Racquet Sports Industry<\/em>\u2019s \u201c30 under 30\u201d list in November 2013.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tierney (Steele) Callaghan \u201906 (CLAS)<\/strong> and Christopher Callaghan married on Aug. 10, 2013.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Karin Edwards \u201906 (BGS)<\/strong> joined the Peace Corps and will depart for China in June to begin training as an education volunteer, teaching English as a foreign language to local residents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>David Garvey \u201906 Ph.D.<\/strong>, director of UConn\u2019s Nonprofit Leadership Program and adjunct professor in UConn\u2019s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, received the ACCESS Community Action Agency\u2019s 2013 Community Service Award in recognition of his dedication to low-income families.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lindsey (Susmeyer) Giliberto \u201906 (CLAS)<\/strong> and <strong>Paul Giliberto \u201906 (BUS)<\/strong> were married on Sept. 14, 2013, in Madison, Conn.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Janet Robinson \u201906 Ph.D.<\/strong>, superintendent of Stratford (Conn.) Public Schools, was named the 2014 Superintendent of the Year in November and received the Exemplary Leadership Award in July, both through the Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents. She previously was superintendent of Newtown (Conn.) Public Schools and of Derby (Conn.) Schools. She also received the 2013 Neag School of Education Alumni Society\u2019s Outstanding Superintendent Award last May.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jesse Senko \u201906 (CANR)<\/strong> is a Ph.D. student at Arizona State University and sustainable seafood consultant for the Blue Ocean Institute. His <a href=\"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/blog\/2014\/05\/protecting-endangered-sea-turtles-and-the-local-fishing-industry\/\">research and conservation efforts to help save endangered sea turtles<\/a> along the coast of Mexico\u2019s Baja Peninsula have been covered in <em>The New York Times<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nick Paquette \u201908 (BUS)<\/strong>, CPA, is manager of the audit practice at accounting and consulting firm Baker Newman Noyes in Portland, Maine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dan Rousseau \u201908 (SFA)<\/strong>, assistant lighting director at the CNN studios of the New York-based Lighting Design Group, won an Emmy in October for Outstanding Lighting Direction and Scenic Design for \u201cNBC Nightly News: Decision 2012 \u2013 Election Night Coverage from Democracy Plaza.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>David Gershaw \u201909 (ENG, BUS)<\/strong> is president of RemPhos Technologies, a design and manufacturing firm for the lighting industry based in Danvers, Mass.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eric Sirois \u201909 (ENG)<\/strong> is the founder and chief executive officer of Dura Biotech, a Storrs, Conn.-based company that is part of the University of Connecticut\u2019s Technology Incubation Program. The company, which develops innovative technologies to improve functionality and durability of bioprosthetic heart valves, won the CTNext Entrepreneur Innovation Award in February.
