Tony nominee Jerry Adler of \u201cThe Sopranos\u201d and \u201cThe Good Wife,\u201d and Richard Kline of \u201cThree\u2019s Company,\u201d headline in the Neil Simon comedy \u201cThe Sunshine Boys,\u201d from June 19 to June 29. Tony-winner Leslie Uggams stars as Mama Rose in \u201cGypsy: A Musical Fable,\u201d from July 10 to July 20.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA Chorus Line\u201d won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama with its depiction of the backstage story of 17 aspiring dancers, while tracing the story of the unsung heroes of the Broadway musical \u2013 the dedicated, talented, and overworked chorus dancers. She broke new ground in 1969 when \u201cThe Leslie Uggams Show\u201d became the first network television variety show hosted by a female African American. She received Emmy nominations for her roles in the television miniseries \u201cRoots\u201d and \u201cBackstage at the White House.\u201d She won the Tony for Best Actress in a musical for \u201cHallelujah, Baby!\u201d and earned a Tony nomination for her work in August Wilson\u2019s \u201cKing Hedley II.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Evening performances for the CRT Nutmeg Summer Series start at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Matinee performances start at 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
