Following Gov. Dannel P. Malloy’s Feb. 16 budget address to the state legislature, UConn held two town hall meetings today, Feb. 17, in the Konover Auditorium at the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center, beginning at 1 p.m.

For those who were unable to attend, the meetings can be viewed via live streamed video links.

Richard Gray, UConn’s vice president and chief financial officer, led the discussions, joined by Provost Peter Nicholls and Barry Feldman, vice president and chief executive officer.

The first meeting began at 1 p.m. and focused on the issue of tuition and fees.

The second began at 2 p.m. and covered the new university effort to identify ways to increase efficiencies, reduce costs, and explore new revenue opportunities. UConn’s consulting partners from McKinsey & Co. were also introduced.

The meetings were delivered using one-way video and audio to UConn campuses around the state at the following locations:
