In a message to the UConn community, incoming President Susan Herbst said she will officially begin her duties as president of the University in mid-June and has scheduled the first of what will be regular office hours for July.
In her message, she wrote:
“I have been back and forth to UConn throughout the spring and have learned so much about our opportunities and our challenges. It is clear to me that, no matter our current financial constraints, we have the spirit and the talent to realize our dreams over the long term on behalf of this great institution.”
Her first regular office hours are scheduled for Tuesday, July 19 from 10 a.m. to noon on the 2nd floor of Gulley Hall. No reservations are needed.
Herbst noted that her office hours schedule will be posted at least two weeks in advance on the UConn Today site, writing: “Please come with your ideas and your reflections on how we can make this an even stronger University.”
