President Susan Herbst has recently joined the roster of bloggers on The Huffington Post’s College Blog page.
Herbst’s first two blog entries focus on UConn’s partnership with Jackson Laboratory and some of the myths behind life as a faculty member. Future posts will appear regularly on the site, touching on assorted issues in higher education as well as content specific to the University, including research, economic development, and news related to the institution.
Fellow Huffington Post College Blog contributors include UConn’s own Daily Campus student newspaper, as well as faculty, students, administrators, and presidents from other academic institutions across the country; writers and activists; and experts in such areas as education, finance, and campus safety.
The Huffington Post is one of the largest news websites on the Internet, with 40 million unique users a month and 100 million page views.
