On November 19th, UTC and UConn Engineering announced the founding of a new UTC Institute for Advanced Systems Engineering at UConn.  But, what is systems engineering, and how will this revolutionary approach change the engineering landscape? This video unveils the promise of systems engineering.

The UTC Institute for Advanced Systems Engineering at UConn was made possible by a planned $10 million investment by the United Technologies Corporation. The activities of the institute will include educational and research facets geared to not only transform engineering education and develop the next generation workforce but also to advance cutting-edge design, development, performance and prognostic capabilities for tomorrow’s complex products and processes.
