Sue Mildrum (B.S. Computer Science & Engineering, ’88) has been promoted to director of engineering at Constant Contact.  In this position, Mildrum manages development and delivery of campaigns including Email, Events, Donations and Coupons.  A seasoned manager with experience transforming development organizations, she has been a speaker at the McGill University Women in Leadership conference and Boston-area She Geeks Out.   Mildrum frequently returns to Storrs as an invited speaker.

Neal Montany (B.S. Mechanical Engineering and Materials Engineering, ’82) has been appointed chief operating officer at Perfumania Holdings, Inc.  His career in operations management spans over three decades, including senior management positions at United Technologies Corporation and International Aero Engines. Most recently, Montany served as vice president and general manager at GKN Aerospace in New York.  He earned his MBA at Boston University School of Management.

William Proceller (B.S. Mechanical Engineering, ’83) has been reappointed to the Town of Weston, Connecticut Building Committee; the term ends June 30, 2018.  The Building Committee reviews and makes recommendations concerning the planning, design, and construction of town and school building projects.  Proceller is a senior vice president, Property Management, at Cohen Brothers Realty Corp. in New York.  He holds an M.S. in Real Estate from New York University.

Rebecca Ruitto Hall, P.E., (B.S. Civil Engineering, ‘09) recently earned her Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification from the Institute of Transportation Engineers.  A project engineer at Tighe & Bond offices in Middletown, this national certification recognizes Hall mastering the specialized knowledge, skills and abilities required for traffic operations engineering; she is one of only 21 PTOEs in Connecticut.  She serves on the Board of Directors for Women’s Transportation Seminar Connecticut Chapter

Debess Rogers (B.S. Computer Science & Engineering, ’78), 60, of Lyndeborough, New Hampshire, died Friday, July 15, 2016 suddenly after tragically being hit by a truck while walking near her home. She excelled in her careers as a senior software engineer and an educator of speech language pathology for persons with special needs.
