The Mariachi Mexico Antiguo ensemble gave a demonstration of traditional Mexican music at the Puerto Rican/Latin American Cultural Center (PR/LACC) Tuesday. The group comprised six violins, two trumpets, one harp, guitarron (a large, six-stringed acoustic bass), vihuela (a guitar-shaped string instrument with five strings), and guitar, with all members singing. The group is based in Las Vegas.

The group also performed at the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts in the evening.
