The UConn Student College of Clinical Pharmacy, a student chapter of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, has announced that Kristian Pretashi (a rising P4) was selected as the 2018 Outstanding Student Member of the UConn Student College of Clinical Pharmacy (SCCP). Kristian is an Urban Service Track Scholar.
“This decision was based on dedication to excellence in patient care, clinical research, education and advocacy,” said John Awad, President of UConn’s SCCP. Member students who applied for the honor were scored based on these four categories. Scores were reviewed and approved by a committee of student members.
“I am pleased, honored and humbled to accept this award. I really appreciate having the opportunity to work together with all the SCCP members and help me grow as a pharmacy student. A very special thanks to the committee for selecting me. And a salute to all of this year’s nominees each of whom have made incredible contributions to SCCP and have helped us establish our organization as one of the top organizations at UConn School of Pharmacy in such a short period of time.” – Kristian Pretashi
Born in Albania and raised in Italy, Kristian lives in West Hartford, Connecticut when not in Storrs.
