Each year on the last day of fall classes, the African American Cultural Center invites students, faculty, and staff to join in celebrating Kwanzaa. The event is an opportunity to commemorate the African American community’s African ancestors and appreciate the values they brought to the Americas during the Diaspora.

This year’s celebration on Dec. 7 was also one of many events commemorating the 50th anniversary of the AACC at UConn.
