Retirement

Linda Armstrong retired in July after 40 years working for the state and UConn. She was hired by the State of Connecticut at the Mansfield Training School in 1980 and then started at UConn Storrs in 1993. She was the administrative assistant for the physiology and neurobiology department and has been invaluable in keeping the department running and thriving during her long tenure.

Lorenzo Knight, 96, of Bloomfield, Conn., a former employee in facilities operations, on July 18.

Jim Lewis, 68, of Princeton, Maine, a 36-year retired employee, on July 17.

John Raycroft, 91, of Glastonbury, Conn., a  surgeon who taught at UConn Health on July 25.
