To the UConn community,

As promised, in advance of the first in a series of open town hall meetings regarding the University’s budget, please find a recorded presentation on the current budget situation and outlook for UConn and UConn Health, as well as a discussion of the fiscal “guard rails” implemented by the state, from our Chief Financial Officer, Jeffrey Geoghegan, and the head of Governmental Relations for UConn, Joann Lombardo. It is about 25 minutes long and includes sign language interpretation.

View a copy of the presentation you will see in the video here.

The first town hall meeting where members of the University’s leadership team will answer questions from members of our community about the budget and related issues will take place virtually on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 12-1 p.m. Please feel free to submit questions in advance to Communications@uconn.edu. This inbox will be monitored during the town hall for any additional questions that come in.

The town hall can be viewed here once it begins.

Leading with joy and love for all,

Dr. Radenka Maric

President
