Dr. Ketan Bulsara, chief of UConn Health’s Division of Neurosurgery, has been elected to membership of the American Academy of Neurological Surgery. Bulsara joins an academy that counts the most elite neurosurgeons in North America among its membership going back to its founding in 1938. The mission of the American Academy of Neurological Surgery is to foster scientific discovery and innovative research seeking to better the lives of patients suffering from neurological and surgical disorders. Bulsara, who joined UConn Health in 2017, is an expert in an unparalleled range of neurological interventions.
Yangchao Luo, associate professor in the Department of Nutritional Sciences in the College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources, and Zhe Zhu, associate professor of remote sensing in the CAHNR Department of Natural Resources and the Environment, were both named to the 2024 Highly Cited Researchers list, released recently by Clarivate and the Web of Science index.
