In a time of extraordinary circumstances, UConn has adapted by seeking new opportunities and new ways to keep UConn Nation connected in a socially distant world. Through all the change and uncertainty, there has been one constant—the University’s commitment to providing an exceptional education to our students. During this year’s UConn Gives, a 36-hour giving initiative on March 23-24, members of UConn Nation can join this commitment by spreading the word, joining challenges, and making transformative gifts to Connecticut’s Top 25 public research university.
This is a moment for UConn Nation to come together and celebrate our University. For 36 hours, your generosity can transform the future of the University you love and the causes you are passionate about. Every gift can make a difference.
Whether it’s the African American Cultural Center, the 4-H Centennial Fund, the Anthropology Department Fund, the Avery Point Women & Philanthropy Fund, or one of hundreds of others, there are as many ways to support UConn as there are things that make UConn great.
And because Huskies love to win, UConn Gives 2021 includes the Leaderboard Challenge, where the project that gets the highest total number of donors will receive an additional $5,000, with $3,000 for the second-place finisher, and $1,000 for the third.
So, how to get started?
- Be a champion. Spread the word. Use #UConnGives and tag @UConnAlumni on social media, and to invite your friends to join.
- Join challenges. Watch social media to unlock dollars for the areas you care about.
- Make your gift! Join UConn alumni in giving back during this exclusive 36-hour giving event.
Every effort you make will benefit Huskies today, and for years to come. Your participation shows how strong our UConn pride is, no matter how challenging the circumstances we find ourselves in.
