Retirement

Ed Lechowicz is retiring from the Department of Physiology and Neurobiology after 38 years. He’s been mostly behind the scenes as the department electronic technician, machinist and fabricator extraordinaire. He’s kept the technical side of the department running, especially instrumental working daily with the teaching labs and doing fabrication for research.

Albert Coleman, 89, of Cromwell, Conn., a retired instructor in the School of Dentistry, on Jan. 26.

Frances Marek, 82, of Bristol, Conn., a retiree of UConn Health, on Jan. 30.
