Entrepreneurs, Take Note: Competition to Award $25k Top Prize

The Connecticut Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CCEI) at UConn has announced the third annual university-wide business plan competition, open to all UConn students. The competition will award a total of $50,000 in prize money to the top three teams or individuals for exceptional business plans.

The Connecticut Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CCEI) at UConn has announced the third annual university-wide business plan competition, open to all UConn students.  The competition will award a total of $50,000 in prize money to the top three teams or individuals for exceptional business plans.

Interdisciplinary teams are encouraged, and all plans submitted will be reviewed by a team of professional and experienced entrepreneurs.  Following submission of their intent to compete, participants may take advantage of CCEI-sponsored workshops intended to help teams polish their plans so they are ready for submission. Key deadlines are as follows:

December 19, 2011- Letter of intent due

February 15, 2012 – Business plan submission

April 2012 – Awardees announced
