UConn junior Kali Cika ’15 (CLAS) has been training around the Storrs campus for the 2014 Boston Marathon. Last year, on April 15, she finished the Marathon in 3:20, only a half an hour before the bombs placed near the finish line went off at 4:09. Thankfully, Cika came away unharmed, and she hopes this year’s race on April 21 will provide a memorable experience filled with pride and joy.
