Football Team Holds Open Practices This Week

Huskies football fans have the opportunity to attend open practices in Storrs on Tuesday and Saturday.

Huskies football fans have the opportunity to attend two more open practices this week.

Open practices will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 14, from 3 to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 18, from 8:45 to 11:15 a.m. at the practice fields behind the old Memorial Stadium site, off Alumni Drive. Parking for these practices will be available for free in “D” lot.

The 2012 season begins on Thursday, Aug. 30, when the Huskies take on UMass at 7:30 p.m. at Rentschler Field.
