Reading the Beat Poets in Storrs Center

The new UConn Co-op bookstore hosted a reading of the works of Beat Poets by professor emeritus Ann Charters on Saturday.

The new UConn Co-op bookstore at Storrs Center celebrated Small Business Saturday Nov. 30 by hosting a series of events including a reading of the works of Beat Poets by Ann Charters, professor emeritus of English and an authority on the Beat writers of the 1950s, and her husband, noted musicologist and record producer Samuel B.
