Sakura Matsuri, or Cherry Blossom Festival, is a centuries-old Japanese tradition celebrating spring. The Japanese Student Association brought the festivities, including Japanese food, cultural performances, and exhibitions, to UConn for the first time this year.

The event was part of Spring Weekend, and was sponsored by the Asian American Cultural Center.
