One Student. One Story

By Julie Bruhn

A video series that captures the essence of the student experience at UConn. Each week, individual students talk about how they came to UConn, the path they have chosen here, and their future plans. Julie Bruhn is majoring in communication sciences and psychology.

Gina Dai: Future Businesswoman

It is week three here at One Student. One Story! As the blog progresses, I get the chance to meet more and more impressive students every week.  Today, we will listen to the story of Gina Dai, a senior from New York City, who founded the Women in Business club here at UConn. Additionally, she is in Delta Gamma sorority and talks with me about her eye-opening experience while studying abroad in Guatemala.

I lived on the same floor as Gina during our freshman and sophomore years. She is very motivated, seems to always be in high spirits, and is constantly searching for a way to help a friend out.  With her sincerity and ambition, I have no doubt that Gina has a successful business career ahead of her.
