On September 15, 2010, the Connecticut Transportation Institute’s Technology Transfer Center held its 9th annual Technology Transfer Expo at the Depot Campus in Storrs. More than 550 public works professionals from across the state gathered for the full-day event, which featured demonstrations, educational sessions and lessons in best practice protocols.
Public and private sector exhibitors, representing all aspects of the transportation industry, came together to highlight the latest tools and equipment and to share information on new regulations and government agency programs that support Connecticut’s transportation community. State and municipal representatives participated in educational sessions designed to provide tips and tools to more effectively and efficiently meet local transportation challenges, especially in these tough economic times.
The 10th Anniversary of the Technology Transfer Expo will be held next year on September 21, 2011. Mark your calendars early!
