Andrew Lyon ’13 (CLAS) joined the Connecticut National Guard while still in high school. After spending 10 months on active duty in Afghanistan, he began taking classes at UConn last semester, and is now helping to develop a Veterans Living-Learning Community on campus. Lyon is majoring in psychology.
