The Grasso Dental Simulation Lab has become an integral component of the UConn School of Dental Medicine. It’s equipped with the high-tech teaching tools that are necessary to educate tomorrow’s dentists.

Each of the lab’s 52 work stations mimics the clinical setting the students will work in when they head “upstairs” to the Health Center’s dental clinics, which serve patients from all over the region.

The cutting-edge lab is named after Dr. Joseph E. Grasso, a pioneer in modern dental training and one of the founding faculty members of the School of Dental Medicine.
