Huskies to Open Basketball Season at Overseas Military Base

The men's team will play against Michigan State in the season opener at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, home of the U.S. Air Forces in Europe, on Nov. 9.

After last year’s tip off between Michigan State and North Carolina on the deck of an aircraft carrier in California, UConn and MSU have agreed to start the basketball season at Ramstein Air Base in Germany. The game will take place on Nov. 9, two days before Veterans Day.
