A Tribute to the Newtown Victims

An arrangement of 26 single white roses was part of a ceremony held at City Place 1 in Hartford this morning, that included a moment of silence at 9:30 a.m.

The floral arrangement was laid in front of the lectern from which UConn Board of Trustees vice chairman Thomas Ritter and former UConn men’s basketball coach Jim Calhoun made remarks during a ceremony attended by several hundred people. A moment of silence was observed at 9:30 a.m.
