The 10th annual Health, Safety and Environment fair at the Health Center scored a home run by attracting hundreds of employees throughout the day.

The fair was tied into America’s favorite past time – baseball. The goal was to improve personal and workplace batting averages in the areas of health, well-being and environmental awareness.

More than a dozen Health Center departments set up tables in the Food Court offering educational materials and giveaways.

The fair included new activities as well as returning favorites, such as “Safety Jeopardy” which pitted the returning champs against three other teams from across campus.

Rocky, the mascot for the New Britain Rock Cats minor league baseball team, was also on hand taking photos with Health Center employees.
