UConn Health’s Dr. Pamela A. Moore was voted “Best Doctor” by the readers of the Chronicle in Willimantic, Conn.
Moore is one of the first doctors to be honored in the Chronicle’s 2015 Readers’ Choice Awards. This year is the first time doctors were named and the third year the publication has asked its readers to vote in 54 different categories ranging from dining, health & beauty, services, shopping and automotive.
Moore is medical director of UConn Health Storrs and serves as assistant clinical professor in family medicine, internal medicine, and primary care. She is board certified in family medicine.
“The Chronicle’s Readers’ Choice Award was a big surprise to me,” says Moore. “This recognition by patients means a lot to me since I have been in practice in the Storrs community for more than 23 years. It is quite an honor that the community has selected me as a Best Doctor.”
She received her undergraduate degree from UConn, later attended medical school at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine, and completed her residency at Middlesex Hospital in family medicine.
