Engineering Centennial 1916-2016

Engineering Your Future

The UConn Engineering Diversity and Outreach Center hosted a group of underrepresented minority eighth grade boys on April 20 for the Engineering Your Future event. 170 boys participated in 8 different learning events designed to help them consider a career in the STEM fields. The events included making a robot hand using straws, a balloon powered car, and extracting DNA from strawberries.
