Pamela Bedore is an associate professor of English and writing coordinator at UConn’s Avery Point campus, where she teaches a variety of classes including popular fiction. She also specializes in researching detective fiction, including her book Dime Novels and the Roots of American Detective Fiction. With the recent start of the sixth season of the modern Sherlock Holmes series ‘Elementary’, and the forthcoming Ethan Cohen comedy ‘Holmes and Watson,’ which stars Will Ferrell as Holmes and John C. Reilly as Watson, Ken Best of the UConn360 podcast traveled to Avery Point to speak with her.
