UConn Health’s Nancy Dupont, MPH, BSN, R.N., nursing director of epidemiology, has been awarded the 2019 Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) Chapter Leader Award.
On June 11 Dupont was recognized at APIC’s Annual Conference in Philadelphia for her achievements in advancing infection prevention and in developing her local member community of the APIC New England Chapter. She is past president of the APIC New England Chapter.
Dupont serves on the UConn John Dempsey Hospital nursing leadership team and also holds a clinical faculty appointment with the UConn School of Nursing.
“As an expert in her field, Nancy is a valued resource at UConn Health,” says Ann Marie Capo, chief nursing officer at UConn Health and vice president of quality and patient services. “We are very proud of Nancy and her ongoing contributions to the field of infection control and epidemiology.
