The OTS is a prestigious organization in oligonucleotides and nucleic acid-based therapeutics. This grant allows Malik to attend OTS’ 2022 Annual Meeting in Phoenix.

Malik also presented her research titled “Effect of freeze-drying using cryoprotectants on the stability of nucleic acid loaded PLGA nanoparticles” at the 2022 Center for Pharmaceutical Processing Research (CPPR) earlier this year. She was awarded the Steve Nail Emerging Researcher Award for her research poster presentation at the conference.

Malik is a student in The Bahal Research Lab led by Dr. Raman Bahal.
