The Three Minute (3MT) Thesis Competition highlights the exciting research conducted by UConn doctoral students by enhancing their academic, presentation, and research communication skills. The competition calls students to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to an intelligent non-specialist audience.

This year five students from The Bahal Research Lab were selected as finalists for the 3MT thesis final competition. In addition to Sai Pallavi Pradeep (first-year grad student), the four other students selected as a finalist for their excellent work were: Shahab Edalatian Zakeri (first year); Vishal Kasina (second year); Aniket Wahane (third year); and, Karishma Dhuri (fourth year).

A recording of Pradeep’s presentation is below. She will present again this month in a global competition.
