As we approach the 2022 holiday season, we have so many reasons to be grateful. As I reflect back on the amazing accomplishments of our Engineering community (students, faculty, staff, and alumni) I am filled with a tremendous sense of pride and gratitude. Our school has seen excellent growth in not only research expenditures and student enrollment, but also in engagement with community and industry, as well as the impact in the State of Connecticut and beyond. I invite you to browse through our annual report.
I would like to think that we have left the enormous pain and challenges of the pandemic, political and social conflicts, environmental foes, and the anxiety of returning to in-person working, teaching, and learning behind us. But life is never that simple. However, I am confident that the strength and perseverance we have gained together will help us collectively propel through challenges waiting for us at every corner.
Wishing your health, joy, and peace this holiday season as you celebrate with your own beautiful, meaningful and magical customs.
